Produces dense homogenous concrete.Standards complianceConplast WL conforms to IS:2645-2003.DescriptionConplast WL is a dark brown liquid based onlignosulphonates which mixes readily with water andtherefore disperses evenly.Conplast WL waterproofs by improving the quality of theconcrete or mortar. It reduces the water demand for requiredworkability and minimises segregation and bleeding. Thusit is more efficient compared to traditional powderwaterproofers as its use results in two fold improvement ofconcrete or mortar.Technical supportFosroc provides a technical advisory service for onsiteassistance and advice on admixture selection, evaluationtrials and dispensing equipment. Technical data andguidance can be provided for admixtures and other productsfor use with fresh and hardened concrete.

PropertiesChloride content : As per IS:2645-2003Compatibility : Can be used with all types ofcements,including pozzolanic but not High Alumina Cement.Permeability to water : Less than 15% as compared to 50%max. allowable under IS:2645compared to control sample.Setting Time: No significant effect on setting time of concreteor mortar.Compressive Strength : Maintains compressive strengthequal to control concrete or mortar and can even improve onstrength property if full advantage of water reduction potentialis utilised.Workability: Improves workability at reduced water cementratioApplication instructionsMortar: Conplast WL is ideal for use with all sand/cementmortars where it is required to reduce permeability to aminimum.Concrete: Conplast WL is recommended for all general massconcrete work where, due to harsh aggregates, difficulty ofcompaction or mix control, the risk of porosity and permeabilitymust be minimised. Eg. Basements, bund walls, tanks,balcony, floor and roof slabs.N.B.: The minimum dosage is 125ml and the maximum is200ml per 50kgs of cement. If maximum dosage is used aminimum of 15% water should be reduced to ensure no lossin strength. Site trials shall be carried out to arrive at theoptimum dosage.The required quantity of Conplast WL is measured and stirinto the first or second bucket of water.Conplast WL water mixture shall be added to the concrete ormortar and mixed thoroughly.Mixing shall be continued and further water shall be addeduntil the required workability is obtained.


The total amount of water added per mix in the initial batchesshall be maintained for the remaining batches.Note: Mixes using Conplast WL will require much less waterthan normal mixes for the same workability. Water reductionmay be as much as 15% or more. If the moisture content ofthe sand or aggregate changes i.e., it becomes wetter ordryer, then the amount of water used must be reduced orincreased to give the original workability.EstimatingPackagingConplast WL is supplied in 125ml, 1, 5 , 20 and 200 litrecontainers.StorageConplast WL has a minimum shelf life of 12 months, if keptin a dry store in unopened containers.

PrecautionsHealth and Safety instructionsConplast WL is non-toxic. Any splashes on skin should bewashed well with water. If contact with eyes occurs, it shallbe washed well with plenty of water and medical advicesought immediately.FireConplast WL is non-flammable.
